With helping hands and open hearts, Hospice of Southwest Ohio provides care, comfort and compassion for those facing a life-limiting illness. We have a dedicated team of nurses, caregivers and volunteers whose main goal is to keep your loved ones at peace – in a place surrounded by care and compassion.

Hospice of Southwest Ohio serves four counties, with the highest reputation for treating patients with the care, dignity and the respect everyone deserves.

We are proud to have a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation which advocates for patients and their families through public outreach, education and research. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for people who are suffering, along with their families and loved ones. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible.

Chaplains

When spiritual support is requested, our chaplains can provide counsel to both the patient and their family.

Physicians

Our team of physicians is led by HSWO’s medical director. Personal physicians are paired with each patient, and assist with directing the full patient care team.

Home Health Aides

For day-to-day personal care, home health aides act as the liaison between the hospice team and the patient’s family.

Social Workers

Our social workers are trained for the hospice environment, and provide emotional support and counsel to both patients and families.

Nurses

Specially trained in hospice care, our nurses excel at symptom management and are available 24 hours a day to provide support and answer questions.

Volunteers

Generous volunteers offer companionship to patients and their families, assist with day-to-day tasks and more.
